Ouisie's Table

Ouisie's Table

in Seafood, Eclectic, Chicken

In 1973, I opened Ouisie’s Table & The Traveling Brown Bag Lunch Co. on Sunset Boulevard.  Customers described it as their charming, eclectic and eccentric club where they were served their favorites like the pimento cheese sandwiches, the rough country plate, chicken fried steak with peppered gravy, black bean soup, the Ouisie’s Spud and the roasted Cornish hen stuffed with tamales.  The menu, was and always will be, hand made without shortcuts.

Tango & Malbec Steakhouse

Tango & Malbec Steakhouse

in Argentinean

Tango & Malbec located just steps from the Galleria - Houston, represents a culinary experience from Argentina. The restaurant’s name is derived from the cultural dance of Tango, as well as the grape variety used to make Argentina’s iconic Malbec wine. Enjoy the upscale space, marked by slick red, black and exposed brick accents, a balance between rustic charm and modern feel. Open seven days a week, Tango & Malbec’s custom Parrilla (wood burning grill) is the only one of its kind in Houston.

Goode Co. BBQ

Goode Co. BBQ

in BBQ

Everybody loves an original, and you're not likely to find too many things more original than this. It would be an understatement to call the Goode Company Barbeque on Kirby a Houston institution. It's a tradition that has stood the test of time. Our second location at 8911 Katy Frwy is a living, breathing monument to the Texas way of life. This is more than just a great place to eat. It's the kind of place you take your friends and family when they're in from out of town.

Carrabba's

Carrabba's

in Seafood

Johnny Carrabba and his family are proud that the two original locations on Kirby Drive and Voss Road remain family owned and operated neighborhood restaurants. What makes us unique are the quality ingredients that go into each dish along with our lively & warm dining experiences. We fillet our own fish daily, make fresh homemade pasta & we even hand stuff our own signature Cappelletti. Even our fresh milk mozzarella is hand made.
